TUNIS, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- China's Zhang Rui grabbed the spotlight at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Contender Tunis here on Saturday by clinching the women's singles and doubles titles.

Japan's Miwa Harimoto did everything to thwart Zhang in the singles final, coming back from a 3-1 deficit to force a deciding game, but the Chinese paddler held her nerves in crucial moments and managed to prevail 13-11 to secure the title.

Zhang then paired up with Kuai Man to get the better of He Zhuojia/Shi Xunyao 3-1 in the all-Chinese doubles final.

Japanese duo Yuto Kizukuri/Tomokazu Harimoto claimed the men's doubles title after edging past Zhao Zihao/Xue Fei from China 3-2.

Second-seeded Hugo Calderano from Brazil was crowned in the men's singles after ending the 18-year-old Frenchman Alexis Lebrun's fairytale campaign in Tunis with a 4-1 victory. Lebrun had eliminated top seed Tomokazu Harimoto, China's Xue Fei and 2019 World Championships runner-up Mattias Falck from Sweden on his way to the final.

Japan's Tomokazu Harimoto and Miwa Harimoto snatched the mixed doubles title on Friday after a full-game victory over Chinese Taipei duo Feng Yi-Hsin/Chen Szu-Yu.
