MOSCOW -- Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Thursday that it uncovered a reconnaissance operation by U.S. intelligence agencies carried out with Apple mobile devices.

"The FSB, together with the Russian Federal Protective Service, uncovered an intelligence operation by U.S. intelligence agencies with the use of Apple mobile devices," it said in a statement. (Russia-US-FSB)

STOCKHOLM -- Four school children were taken to hospital after a knife attack that reportedly involved dozens of people during a sports day in the Swedish city of Eskilstuna on Thursday.

KABU -- Afghanistan's security forces have discovered a weapon cache in the western Farah province and seized a variety of arms and ammunition, said a statement of the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) on Thursday.

Acting on a tip-off, the GDI personnel launched operations in Farah province on Wednesday and discovered weapons including five Kalashnikov rifles, three PK machine guns, two rocket launchers and thousands of bullets, including 20 mortar shells, the statement said, without mentioning if anyone was arrested.
